Bits & Pieces

My life over the past few weeks has been a rollercoaster which has made it difficult to even begin to blog. Sometimes you just run out of words and this well has been completely dry. The ebb and flow of recent days has called for a more selfless Heather, but blogging is more of a selfish activity than a selfless one for me. I've decided to resort to a creation of lists, so here it goes...

1. I just completed "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory, but I have not seen the movie. It is a really fast and interesting historical fiction read.

2. I also completed reading "Dreams of My Father" by Barack Obama. For anyone interested in learning more about his family or political background it is really a great resource.

3. My photography class is over. I included a few shots that I have taken recently. I had more photos that I wanted to share, but I deleted them before realizing that they didn't download. I am hoping to take other classes in the future. Daniel Stowe Botancial Gardens offers a variety of classes which are just a day long. I would like to take some of those over the next few months. I hate to commit to anything else as the weather warms up.

4. I was out in LA for training in junction with the management training program I was accepted into at work. Unfortunately, it was a worldwind trip that really did not allow an opportunity for any site seeing.

5. I am so happy that we are springing forward. I love the long evenings. I am really looking forward to warmer weather. Although this winter has not really been harsh in NC it has been exhausting and I am ready for spring.
